I would like to be able to have folders inside my categories to clean up some of my big projects, I have so many sounds for my RPG soundboards it would be helpful if we had access to nested categories.

Sorry for the very late answer. Nested categories is a good idea, I may try to add it in the future but I need to think how to integrate it properly without losing simplicity.
In the meantime, as a workaround you could use Tags on your sounds to have further filter inside a given category.
