I installed SoundShow on Linux, but unlike the Windows version, no sounds or categories are installed in the software or in the "Default project". How can I fix this, please ?

Sound Show now asks if you want to create an empty project or the sample one, maybe you clicked one the empty choice.
You can create a new project with the samples. In the menu bar: "Project" -> "New". Then click "Sample project" and select the location for your project.
