You can now download an early preview of Sound Show for Android.
Only the free version is available for now with only the "Phone" display mode.
The goal in the future is to be fully released on the Play Store. The paid version will add the "Desktop" display mode with a specific "touch layout" (larger buttons and sliders). This will bring the full Sound Show experience to tablet or phones.
Lately, some updates have also be made to the desktop builds:
New
- Soft Takeover for MIDI faders: Faders now wait until your physical control catches the current software value before changing it. Enabled by default; can be disabled in Options.
- Added web page server (Pro): Host a simplified Sound Show interface as a web page for remote control. It works on any device (Android/iOS) with no extra app required. Quickly connect by scanning the QR code in the Server panel.
- Long-press = Right-click: Added long-press to trigger right-click. Off by default on desktop; especially useful on touch screens.
Fixes
- Playlist shuffle now behaves correctly.
- Fixed a bug with keyboard shortcuts when the app is in background where buttons where triggered when they should not.
Other
- Improved first user experience: for example by automatically downloading the sample sounds
- Some other small fixes and visual improvements
